Feel Your Feelings

It is okay to express how you feel. Your feelings do matter. If you need to cry, cry. If you want to laugh laugh and snort, and do it loudly. If you just need to sit in silence and let your brain go numb, you can do that, too. Sometimes we need to sit with our feelings no matter how uncomfortable that is and do an assessment of our mind and body. We have to take the time out to have a brain break. Don't just bypass how your body reacts to certain people, places, phrases or situations. Nobody knows you better than you do, so take the time to really get to know you and speak up for yourself. Work on becoming your biggest advocate, so people learn how to treat you. Never forget your feelings count and they are important. So, do your best to respect them because you deserve the best!
