April 8th was a busy day for She Mentor HER, Founder, Meochia Nochi Thompson, who participated in a panel discussion at the Diamonds of Hope Awards Banquet whose theme centered around faith, hope, and grace. She was accompanied by Founder of Life's Beautiful Diamond , Shanda Jackson, and Grammy Award winning, US Army Veteran & Commentor, Zaneta Inez Adams and their lovely emcee, Henrietta Hadley of Infinite Solutions Consulting Group. Before that panel discussion, the She Mentor HER crew heard all about Discipline and Determination. Valerie James of SVJ consulting started the morning with an empowering speech about getting mentally prepared to conquer life's goals. Then, Adult Therapy Lead and Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner, Syreeta Drake introduced herself to the group with a heartfelt life story of endurance before helping everyone to shed unhealthy labels from others and ourselves. Later, everyone wrote letters of thanks and celebration to themselves to be returned at an unknown date. Each month, we are busy doing good and feeling well at She Mentor HER!!!
